These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Check & Chop, a Tech For You product, and services. By accessing or using our website or software, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Platform

Check & Chop provides digital tools designed to assist businesses, particularly food businesses and caterers, in generating allergen labels and managing related product information. You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features of the platform, you may need to create an account. You agree that:

• The information you provide is accurate and kept up to date
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

3. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information entered into the platform, including ingredients, allergens, and product details.

• You must verify all generated labels before use
• You remain responsible for legal compliance with food safety and allergen regulations
• Tech For You provides tools to assist compliance but does not replace regulatory responsibility

4. Compliance and Food Safety

Our platform is designed to help businesses comply with food allergen labelling requirements, including regulations such as Natasha's Law in the UK. However, Tech For You does not guarantee regulatory compliance and cannot be held responsible for incorrect information entered by users.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data
• Interfere with the operation or security of the platform
• Copy, distribute, or reverse engineer the software without permission

6. Intellectual Property

All software, design, branding, and content provided by Tech For You remain the intellectual property of Tech For You unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce or distribute platform materials without permission.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep the platform available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tech For You shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform, including errors in user-provided information or generated labels.

9. Subscription cancellation and data export

Creating an account does not purchase a subscription. Checkout shows the selected plan and payment details before confirmation. If you cancel automatic renewal through billing, the subscription remains available until the current paid period end displayed in your account.

Cancelling renewal does not itself delete kitchen records. Use the available label and EHO report exports before access ends, or contact us to request a broader copy or account deletion. Requests may be subject to identity checks and any retention we are legally required to apply.

10. Account suspension and termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, the updated date at the top of this page will be revised.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
